Me, too. She said that the Death Eaters used to be named the Knights
of Walpurgis.

I suppose she *knows* that, by talking about one thing that is
central but no one has guessed yet, she is offering a Challenge.
Evoking my urge to *try* to guess it so I can say Nyaa Nyaa Nyaa.
But don't we sort of owe it to the human being who has given us so
much pleasure that we not TRY to do something that she said will
annoy her?
BOOK READING PLANS
It's strange to me that so many people are posting about their
excitement, impatience, plans to shut out the world in order to
readreadread, and I am perfectly calm about it ... my emotions don't
yet believe that OoP is happening
Having ordered a copy from amazon uk as soon as the release date was
announced, I also always planned to get promptly a copy of us edition
to read while waiting for the uk one to arrive, and then pass on to
Muggle friends. But I was overcome by a fit of fannishness and
reserved my us copy at a bookstore in *Valencia* (long way from my
home!) because that is where Pippin is getting hers ... and invited
everyone on the HPfGU-California list to pick up their copies at that
bookstore and then sleep/read on Pippin's living room floor. In
costume.
So my social life is arranged, but I'm damned if I know how I'm
going to find time to *read* the book, never mind catch up on the
main list!
Reading the intro bio's once again brought to my mind my awe at how
much so many of you do ... it seems that the typical listie has a
job, young children, a musical instrument (or voice or DJing), a
sport, helping out with Nimbus 2003 and/or HP websites ... how do
you-uns find the *time*?! I just have the job and some cats, not all
those other things, and I can never find time to go to a movie or
read fanfic or whatever, and you-uns can?
