I'm going to be in the Twin Cities (Mpls/St. Paul) this weekend for a Starfleet (Star Trek Int'l Fan Club) summit, but I'm going to the Eden Prairie, MN Barnes & Noble for their HP bash at 10pm tonight.  The book goes on sale at midnight and I've already reserved a copy.  I'm going to stay up all night if I have to to finish OoP!  I'll be tired all day Saturday, but c'est la vie - I have been DYING to read OoP.  I finished GoF in four hours and I'm hoping I can do the same with OoP.

That's okay with me. I'll probably skip coputer time this weekend to 
1.concentrate on the book and 2. to start moving things and cleaning 
up, my basement will be undergoing MAJOR renovation this summer (one 
bedroom, a utility room, a full bath, a better family 
room/library/home office).

I'm a bag of nerves because I have no "Plan B" for getting a copy of 
the book. I figured I could just walk into my bookstore on Saturday 
afternoon and casually pick up the book from a huge stack. (I must 
have been in some dream-world, huh?). I didn't even THINK of 
reserving a copy until a month and a half ago. Now I'm thinking, if I 
don't show up at mid-night, I'm not going to get a copy of the book 
until next week! Paranoia strikes deep (sniff).

I plan to be in my pyjamas and reclining on my couch. My light 
blanket over me and a thermos of tea within reach.
