Hi All,
 
Oh what a depressing thread. Anyone in any doubt about how tempting it is to
erroneously reinterpret everything in the light of Rosicrucian and
alchemical mysteries should try reading Umberto Eco's "Foucault's Pendulum".
It's heavy going at times because of the wealth of detail, especially
historic stuff about the Knights Templar, so I recommend the audio version.
But it does show how easy it is to see everything, from shopping lists to
Harry Potter, in light of ancient Gnostic mysteries. Arghhhurghhh.

PS Last time I referenced this book, someone pointed out that the timeline
had a logical flaw. Please, if you do read it, don't imagine that it is
adding to the madness, it's a critique.
