Lyn now:
Agreed, about wanting Snape dead.  Of course, that "some point Harry will be able to 
understand" may only occur after Snape is dead. Indeed, I think that is quite likely. But I 
also wouldn't be surprised if Snape gets a chance to perceive another view of Harry before 
his death. 

Hopefully JKR will stay alive to finish this and  we'll all be alive to find out.
