sewing, line parties (was Re: March Meet-up and Plans for April

I live in San Leandro, which is just south of Oakland, and have hosted 
sewing parties for several different groups I am with, including Ren. 
Faire, 18th century Privateers, Dickens' Fair, and science 
fiction.  (There's lots of floor space for cutting out things here, and the 
participants also did fittings on each other.)  I am currently working on 
my second robe from the Harry Potter universe, as well as other costumes 
from other times and places.  I'd like to meet up with any sewing members 
of this group.  (No, I don't sew for other people, I only consult.)

For someone's information, a "line party" is where you get together in the 
line outside some film, sometimes in costume, and have a sort-of party as 
you wait outside.  This is often followed by  going out to eat someplace 
afterwards.  I was hoping there would be a line party for the PoA opening, 
someplace in the Bay Area, even if I had to arrange it myself.
