Dvd complaint

So, I've finally come up with a complaint about the DVD.
(We won't go into the trials of getting to the deleted scenes.  hehe)

I was really looking forward to hearing Harry & Company in french.  
However, the DVD comes only in English/Spanish in N. America.  What's 
up with that?!  Don't most DVD's come in at least the two most 
frequently used languages: French and English?

What about the Canadian DVD?  It must come in french, but what DVD 
region is Canada??  Sorry if this subject has already been touched on 
before but I can't recall.

Does the Philosopher's Stone DVD have French?  I need to get one of 
those plays-all-regions DVD players, I think. :o)   Or have mine 
changed to accept all regions -- how much does that cost? anyone know?
