Hugh Grant as Lockhart?!

I was looking at the June 7 issue of Entertainment Weekly, which had 
some photos from the upcoming CoS film... included in the photos was 
a picture of Lockhart, Harry and Ron.  Underneath the photo it said 
that Hugh Grant had been considered for the role, but they went with 
Branagh because "Ken seems to disappear into any role."  

Since the book was so specific in the description of Lockhart as a 
blue-eyed blond, I find it hard to believe that Grant could have been 
a serious contendor for the role -- I mean, I simply cannot see him 
with blond hair! <G>

When I heard that Branagh was playing Lockhart, I thought that was a 
good piece of casting.  It will be interesting to see how he does 
with the role.
