Your point is well made and well taken. True, Harry doesn't need one
more 'evil thing' filling his life with angst.

However, I think you missed my point. The key word to my point isn't
'evil'. While it is refered to as the 'evil eye', what it is really
about is the ability to cast a curse (or charm or spell) with a look;
to perform magic with your eyes being the focusing device as opposed
to a wand.

Actually, maybe you did get that point. Either way, I still agree that
last thing Harry needs is one more source of suspicion that has the
potential to lead him to more misery.

Sadly, I see a lot of misery ahead for him. I swear when him and Ron
were mad at each other in GoF, it nearly broke my heart. Now, on top
of  Draco, Voldemort, and Snape, he has *girls* to worry about. Poor kid.

Anyway, with regard to eye color and the movie, I think it's something
they can blow off until it becomes critical to the story line.
