Strangely, i was so taken by the pics in the Sun article, i didn't
bother to read the whole thing. my apologies if this has been
already noted and posted in discussion:

"Our amazing stills from the movie show Harry and pals Hermione and
Ron adopting a different look as new director Alfonso Cuaron boots
out the blazers for a more casual style.

Daniel Radcliffe, 14, who plays Harry, wears a trendy hooded top
while Ron, alias 14-year-old actor Rupert Grint, swaps his uniform
for a stripy jumper."

It sounds like the sweaters, neckties and cloaks are gone for good?
They are using words like "swaps" and "boots" -- implying that the
boarding schoolish outfits aren't making a come back anywhere in the
film? If i remember correctly, i beleive the person responsible for
costumes in SS/PS was nominated for an academy award. or maybe it
was an MTV movie award. i don't remember. Good job to Cuaron for
tossing out an old idea for a new one, even if it is maybe, a
slightly risky one!! Personally, the new, modern look is really
growing on me....
