Yes, it would be good to have a uniform that fits each task, but they weren't
supposed to know what the first task was until they got there, so how would
they know how to dress? Granted, they could have been told "Wear this to the
first task" by the officials. But what's with the yellow trim? I would expect
trim in either their house color or something standard for Hogwarts (as he is
representing Hogwarts and not Gryffindor). Also, even if the uniforms for
different tasks are different in *functional* ways, I would expect the *look*
of the uniforms to be similar. That court jester get-up for the third task is
just absurd. Trousers do make sense for the maze, but the tunic should look
like a shorter version of the other uniforms. Come to think of it, trousers
make more sense for fighting dragons as well...
Sherry, who would not like to fight a dragon no matter how well-designed my
uniform is
