Oooh, time for me to jump in. I've always been a bit of a loner, so 
fictional characters were a comfort for me. I think my first one was Chekov 
from ST-Original, and Data. Later then Gul Dukat from DS9 (pre "Waltz", and 
in my private universe Ziyal never died and Dukat changed sides after that. 
Heh.) I think on Voyager it was first Chakotay, though recently through 
reading FanFic I've developed a soft spot for Harry Kim. 

Well, many know that I'm also known as Mrs. Snape, so that answers the HP 
question. But I also could imagine Remus as a partner, he's wonderful. 

Methos from Highlander. 

So they're either really difficult to deal with, like Methos, Snape and 
Dukat, or sweet and evoking protective feelings, like Harry, Remus and Data. 
Cpt. Janeway's nice, too, though she's somewhat outside the roster. Must be 
the command mask and the wish to lift some of the emotional weight she has 
to carry. 

Yes, I know, it's a rather long list, but I always had an overactive 
imagination that I had to keep busy. If I'd written down all the stories 
that played out in my head I'd probably have a disfunctional wrist by now.
