Here I am, 29 years old, and dealing with another break-up with
someone who seemed so right and yet turned out so wrong.
I should have known it wouldn't work when I found out he had never
read a Harry Potter book. (I did eventually get him to read the
first three, but he wouldn't discuss.) At least I have the upcoming
Half-Blood Prince to look forward to!
Anyway... this brings up a good question... How do your
boyfriends/girlfriends/husbands/wives feel about your Harry Potter
fascination (or obsession)? Do they get into it too?

Chancie:
I am sorry that your relationship didn't work out. I'm very lucky that I
found Mr. Right at such a young age (I'm 23 now, and I've been with my husband
since just before I was 19). He definatly doesn't get my HP obsession! When
I got OoP, and I got to the point where Sirius had just died. I was sitting
on the couch crying, and he came over to me looking worried and asked me
what was wrong, I told him that I was reading my book, and some one just died.
He looked releaved and then said "You do know this is just a book right??"
almost laughing when he said it. He's never discureged me from it though. He
bought me all the books for my birthday, and gave me an IOU for HBP. I've
told him he should read the books, because I know he'd like them, but I haven't
succeded as of yet.
Good Luck with your next relationship Grindie!
Chancie
