Hmmm...Given that the Quibbler's articles are seemingly ridiculous and
met with scorn (particularly by Hermione), our first instinct is to
write them off as nonsense. But I think we are being asked to look
*very closely* at the information given. In particular, I believe that
both the Stubby Boardman article and the Goblin-Eater article should
be examined closely; they may be a bit sketchy on the facts, but I'm
sure there's a grain of truth in each of those articles.

It is also mentioned that the only (or best) way to get to the Horcrux
locket is with two people. One of these people would, naturally, have
to be quite small and have some powerful magic of his own. If Regulus
is R.A.B., I'll bet he brought Kreacher along and used him in the same
capacity as DD used Harry. And don't forget: among other things, a
large locket was found in Grimmauld Place while the group was cleaning
out the house (in OOP).
Andromeda:
I like this train of thought (about Regulus possibly being alive in
hiding, and maybe Stubby, if he is RAB), but my problem with him (or
Sirius) still being alive is that they discover that Kreacher has to
obey Harry...<snip> ...since DD didn't (apparently) know
if Kreacher truly was Harry's until they tested it.
Entropy:
As we've seen, DD doesn't always give us the whole story. He may have
been testing Kreacher, as he told Harry. But, rather than testing
whether Kreacher would work for Harry if the Black line had died out,
perhaps he was testing whether Kreacher would work for Harry if
ordered to by a remaining Black.
