Large HP slash groups MIA on Yahoogroups?

Huh, I think Glassesreflect, one of the largest HP slash groups, was
nuked by Yahoogroups. :-(  It's been around for 2-3 years.  I know
harry_potter_slash was another recent MIA but I also heard the
list-owner lost her entire account.  Snapeslash was among the earlier
'victims'.

Bummer, y'know, I really don't care for LiveJournal format** but
Yahoogroups really isn't helpful when they decide to nuke groups. 
While independent list servers mean creating more user/password
account hassles.

**LiveJournal has crappy *community* format, LJ is about *me*
individuality (hehe, fandom selfish), even the "community" journals
aren't as effective because not every member gets a copy of replies to
threads.  It's the 'who are my "friends" and who aren't my "friends"'
nature of LJ... {shudders}  Land O' Wank.
