Yes, most people buy the shells, it's easier and they don't have those 
peaks which I mentioned before. on the other hand, pavlova needs to be
very fresh, cause they go hard and crunchy after a while which isn't
good, so it's a toss up over which one you get.

Also, don't let a Kiwi hear you say Pavlova is Aussie, they will tell
you they come from New Zealand. there has been somewhat of a feud 
between aussies and kiwis over it for years.
