The article is fairly accurate except that I think it was written by a
Publicity Officer in the pay of Cornwall..... :-)
Cream teas are very much a part of tradition especially in the West
Country counties of Cornwall, Devon and Somerset, the latter being
the county in which I now live.
Basically, you cut a scone in half, spread some strawberry or
raspberry jam on it and then a thick layer of clotted cream on top.
Eat slowly and enjoy....
