Sirius might be developed more in Book 4, to the point that he will matter
even more to the reader. Harry might be making real plans to spend his
summers with him and have some shred of a real family. I care about this
very much, for Harry's sake. *Little lump in my throat-- I really feel
terrible about what he must endure with the Dursleys!*

Another theory: There IS going to be another DADA teacher and according
to all the rumors I am sure everyone has heard about....

He is supposed to be one of the good guys, someone who will have the
guts to take on Draco Malfoy. The reader might certainly care about
him in this book, he might, like Lupin, teach the kids some important
things about defending themselves against You-Know-Who, and if he dies,
it will show Voldemort's strength. This would also leave the door open
for Lupin to return perhaps.....

Just a thought.....
