Yet again, I'm going there. I can't help it, I'm fascinated by the "what
ifs" surrounding Harry's mama. So here's another one. What if Lily's
family *were* wizards(perhaps two Squibs who married) with Petunia also
being a Squib, who out of sheer jealousy of her sister renounced her
family as freakish and abnormal and blended into the Muggle world. After
all, she does say how proud her parents were when Lily recieved her
acceptance letter to Hogwarts. "But my mother and father, oh, no, it
was Lily this and Lily that, they were proud of having a witch in the
family!" If that isn't the remark of a jealous woman, I'll eat a plate
of Hagrid's homemade rock cakes! I know this works against my "Lily
as a long-lost relative of the Weasleys" theory, but I think multiple
theories are fun to have! And besides, that could still work.
