I don't *know* the answer but I suspect it may have something to do with
the fact that egroups has the 100 messages per day limit (supposedly).
"Quota exceeded" seems to indicate that my suspicions might be correct.

As I mentioned when we set this list up last Thurs or Friday, I wrote to
egroups customer support immediately & explained that we would need to
have our daily message limit increased to at least 200 as we might
regularly exceed 100 messages per day. I have still not heard back from
them, despite their "promise" that you will hear back within 24 hrs with
customer support questions.

Paul has received some answers back to his queries relating to setting
up the Message Archives list (archived messages from our old Yahoo
site). So, I'm not sure what the holdup is with responding to me on
this daily limit business. I may re-submit the question now & see what
happens.

It does seem that everyone's messages *are* getting posted to the list,
despite the fact that you're receiving this Daemon message & being told
that the quota has been exceeded.

Can people comment on whether or not you tend to get these Daemon
messages toward the end of the day? Of course, I don't know how egroups
figures a day -- which time zone are they using?

Well, I'll try to follow up & will let everyone know.

Penny
