Actually, she reminds me of my father, who was also very intelligent.
Lacking a bit in common sense, but very intelligent. He'd go on about stuff,
but he had an abiding belief that everyone wanted to know stuff in the depth
he did. I think she just likes to *know* things. The corollary is using and
sharing the information, which I know firsthand can get irritating, but the
motivation is the *knowing,* not the sharing.
