 Can we get a quote of the textual reference in PoA? I don't recall 
reading anything which actually got into Snape's head and revealed 
any info outside of the "Harry Filter."

  (ps -- agreed that Snape genuinely dislikes Harry and is just not a 
nurturing sort of teacher.  It's interesting that although he insults 
Harry in class, there's never been any suggestion that he *grades* 
Harry unfairly.)
