Hmm, on the other hand, if the prejudice against werewolves is so
great, the only way to get Lupin hired would be as a result of severe
lack of applicants. In other words, he could be the most fab DADA
prof ever (and he was rather fab, seemed to me), but as a werewolf he
can hardly get a job picking up trash much less teaching kids at a
respected institution.
By the way, what constitutes "Great Wizard" in the Potterverse?
Dumbledore is one, for defeating Grindewald and scaring the heck out
of Voldemort. Voldemort is one, for bringing the wizarding world to
it's knees. Could *any*one else be considered Great, even if not as
Great as Dumbledore & Voldemort? Hasn't Hagrid said that Harry's
parents (or at least, father) was a 'great wizard'? I wonder in what
way?
