Actually, he may be more like us, the reader, than we'd like to admit.
None of us are clear-cut anything. Everyone has made mistakes and/or
decisions that he or she is not proud of. And we move on, as does 
Snape. Alebeit with a grudge that could kill.

What do you base this on? (or did I miss it in the snippits of
messages?) What has been provided to us that Dumbledore has or
is losing his powers?
