I never read this as Harry's dream -- I read it as a narrative of
events as they unfolded from Bryce's perspective. Then we see the
connection to Harry when Harry wakes up with his scar hurting and some
awareness of the events. Harry somehow connects with V when he
performs avada kedavra, but the connection isn't perfect. Harry
doesn't see the whole scene, he only recalls parts of it imperfectly.
Dumb question, that I could probably answer by looking in the books --
why didn't harry feel it when V killed Bertha? Or did Peter dispose of
her?
