I agree with you about Dennis but I can't really see JK killing 
Hagrid in this book, (That's not to say that his number won't be up 
in another) because it seems like it would be a real plot killer. Who 
else would figure in a conversioon of the giants to Dumbledore's 
side? Hagrid seems too essential to the progression of the plot to 
die in this book. Although, I did see an interview on TV with the 
actors who played Dumbledore and Hagrid's responses to the 
question "are you signed on for all 7 movies?" Dumbledore's response 
was "yes". Hagrid's was "sort of" so who knows? Maybe Hagrid will buy 
the farm.
