well there are some very good value indeed in this statement, if 
you see, why Olivander actually bother to measures things at all when 
Harry bought his wand, i think the length of the wand is to be 
suited with the size and measurement of the wand user but then again 
this is a bit contradictory with the statement "... the wand choose 
the owner..." thing.

about the unicorn hair stuff inside the wand.... remember this... 
Digory wand contain a hair of a particular handsome male unicorn 
GOF) so what (or more likely who is) it will be then... but i think 
Ron will not die just like that... and i suspected that Hagrid wand 
had dragons' heart string as core....
