Maybe the shorter the wand the more powerful the wizard. Length of
wand may be an aid for a less adept wizard, hence Hagrid's being 16
inches. We know Ron isn't as powerfully magical as Harry. I would
be interested in the length of Hermione's wand - I wonder how much of
her skill is inherent power versus just studiousness. We know from
Neville and Filch that some wizards are just born more gifted than
others. Maybe wand length is an indicator for a wizard's potential;
lenght and power being inversely proportional.
If this theory plays out, it is interesting that Harry's wand is
shorter than Voldy's. Does that mean, that powerful as V is, Harry
has even greater potential?
