Question about the fact L.V. and Harry's wands are brothers?

  Ollivander says that Fawkes "gave" only two feathers, which 
makes me wonders if phoenix feathers must be literally given by 
the phoenix in question, and not simply dropped or plucked.  In 
Voldie's resurrection spell, the flesh had to be given willingly, the 
blood unwillingly, and the bone unknowingly...the same might 
apply to phoenix feathers, unicorn hairs and dragon heartstrings 
respectively .
   It would suit my sense of poetic justice if T.R. lost his first wand 
about the time that Hagrid lost his. It doesn't sound as though 
T.R. had ever seen Fawkes before he appears in the 
Chamber.Perhaps there is some adventure yet to be told in 
which Dumbledore acquired Fawkes and Fawkes gave two 
feathers, one of which was made into the replacement Riddle 
wand, that took place in the two years or so between Riddle's 
construction of the Very Secret Diary and his disappearance.
   It could be that Dumbledore, once he discovered that Riddle 
and Voldie were the same, took Ollivander into his confidence 
about  Riddle, and asked Ollivander to let him know at once if  
the second wand was purchased.
