Well, that depends upon one thing, the nature of the registry.  
Somehow I doubt the registry wipes itself clean at the turn of each 
century.  That would limit its usefulness quite a bit, especially 
during the years immediately following the year '01.

Barring that, the registry might have one page for each century and 
Hermione only checked the one page.  This certainly is possible, but 
as there are only six (if I recall correctly) in the last 100 years, I 
would be very surprised if Hermione didn't review the previous century 
 or two to see:
(1)How many were still living and,
(2)How many there are per century on average.

It simply is not like Hermione not to research things as deeply as 
possible.  OTOH, Rowling *was* very careful to state that Hermione 
checked the past 100 years, so she could very well be setting things 
up for a surprize.  

Hmmmm, I think my vote is still 'No'.
