I think that killing Sirius would be as cruel to Harry as killing 
Harry would be cruel to us!  That's the worst thing, IMO, that can 
happen to the series.

My money (all galleons, knuts and sickles) are on the loss of 
Dumbledore.  Long before I joined this group (was there really such a 
time?), I decided that Dumbledore had to go.  I'll cry when it 
happens, as he is one of my favorite characters (possibly second only 
to Harry himself).  JKR has make too many references to his age, 
especially in GoF, for anyone not to suspect it.  Also, as others have 
said, Harry must learn to live without Dumbledore, and obviously D's 
death will force him to do that.
