Hello everybody!
This is my first post.
I don't think mine is acctually a cool story,
but I want to share it.
My *little* sister (17) read PS/SS this january
-we are from Mexico, so the Harry Potter's series
took time to arrive-. I started to get curious
about a book who make grow in kids the joy of reading,
and that made my sister such a *consolidated* fan.
So I read PS/SS in early may, and I get absolutely
fascinated about the story.
In two weeks I finished the four books.
I've already read them several times, and also in English.
I'm looking forward for the next book.

Maribel

For Christmas '98 my son (then 10) asked for 'Harry Potter' for
Christmas, and duly received (from my parents) a paperback PS. He
then went out and *bought* CS in *expensive hardback* with his *own*
Christmas money. I read them when he had finished with them. I
enjoyed them but didn't particularly think PS was good (the
cartoonish Dursleys, the traditional school milieu, the Quidditch
descriptions, the unprofessional and therefore not very credible
teachers). They have grown on me since.

Whe POA came out James again bought it himself on the publication
date. When GOF came out *I* bought it (for all of us).

Now we are all looking forward to the movie

David
