Hello everyone! I guess it's about time to say hi on here! My story's boring
but I'll tell it anyway. (BTW I'm only 14 but I love reading adult's ideas on
HP so I joined this.) I first read SS/PS three years ago because I had to. I
read it in school for
class. (Ironically it's a Catholic school and I'm taught reading by a HP
obsessed nun. Therefore the Christians that don't like HP confuse me!)
Anyway I loved the first one but the second wasn't around so I never
read it. When the second came in paperback I wanted to get it but didn't
have the money. My school finally got all the books last year. Since they
got them all at once they were out a lot so I wasn't able to read them.
When they did become available I was too busy to read. Something kept
telling me to read it but I didn't listen. As soon as basketball was over I
took first chance I could to go to the library to get CoS. (I should have
reread SS/PP but didn't.) It took be awhile to read it though because I
still was busy. Then I read PoA fairly quickly because I love it so much.
When I got GoF it landed on a weekend I was going to be away. It was
good though because I had plenty of time to read and finished it in 4
days which is fast for me, considering the size of the book.
I now got my sister (16) and brother (11) to read SS/PS! (Took my
brother forever and I'm surprised he didn't wait till October when he'll
read it in class.) My brother is now mad because I won't let him touch
my copy while by sister is lazy and won't go the library for it. My whole
family's going to the movie though!! Can't wait ;-) Forge
