Hey guys,

I've never posted before but I thought I would give it a shot.

First of all, I think that it's impossible for Harry to die. The books are
targeted for younger kids, and by logic, I would think Harry Potter getting
slain by the bad guy might damage some poor kid for the rest of his or her
childhood. Besides, come on guys, JKR has said she's going to end the last
book with the word "scar". I'm guessing it won't be in a sentence that sounds
like: "And all that was left of the boy who lived was the SCAR".

I also have my doubts that Ron and/or Hermione would be killed. I think
Hermione, in her own way, is as good of a witch as Harry is a wizard... with
the fact excluded that she likes his... well... luck. I would think that the
sidekicks would be there with Harry to help him beat Voldemort. I also think
it goes with what I said about the tramatizing some poor kid... I think JKR
wants to present death as an issue, but she wants readers(especially
children), to observe it from a distance. Killing Ron, Harry, and Hermione
would almost be personal.

I think Voldemort will be defeated. I mean, come on, good vs. evil is a
central theme in the book. The bad guy will more than likely be killed in the
end.

I doubt Sirius will die. Lily and James are already gone, and if Sirius was
doomed, I think he might have already died. There might be some complicated
something about recapturing him, but I doubt it. I think he and Harry will be
a family that's together... one day.

Dumbledore is a complicated guy. I don't think that he'll die. That's just my
opinion, though. I think if he did die, it would be with Dumbledore and
Voldemort fighting in the last book. Or maybe, after Voldemort is killed,
Dumbledore might die. If Dumbledore was to die, it would totally mess up the
balance of good and evil. Voldemort would probably rule if Dumbledore died
before Voldemort. I think there's some kind of connection between the two
both being alive, but I haven't quite figured it out yet.

I doubt Lupin will die. I don't know why I think that, but I'm just thinking
he won't.

I don't think Cho would be killed, because Cedric was already killed, and I
don't know, it's not changing the pace at all.

The only character that I think is just doomed is Ginny Weasley. She pops up
too much not to play a vital role in the end. I think that she might die
protecting Harry. Also, she met Voldemort in CoS, being the only other
Hogwarts character to come out alive besides Harry. I think something
critical will happen with her in the future.

Now that I've gotten all my babbles out, I might just go back to lurking...
maybe.

Thanks for reading<g>,
Belle
