I kind of does. It's called a GOOD librarian. I do that for kids all 
the time. I'm not always sure how I know, but I can usually put my 
hand on the book they need pretty quickly, even if they're looking 
for something quite esoteric. And if you factor in the Internet, 
there is almost NOTHING I can't find. 

Of course, JKR did say that the Wizarding World has its own way to 
find information about the world that was even more fun than the 
Internet. I'm looking forward to seeing that.
