There is a list of questions that meet your criteria (nothing that
requires her to give anything away) from October 2000 in our Files
section (in the folder labelled JKR Chats).  These questions were
designed for the 3 US chats that she did last October -- lots of us
submitted as many of these questions as we could.  We got few answers
IIRC.  Take a look at that File, Steve.  We'd sure love to get some
answers!  I must say though that I sent off our Mysteries &
Inconsistencies FAQ to JKR, Bloomsbury & Scholastic months ago and have
never heard a word in reply from any of them.  Not to be discouraging of
your efforts, but I'm not sure I'd expect a response.  Still ... it's
worth a try, I'm sure.

FAQ FILK -- I *loved* it!  But, I must confess to being a bit dejected
that I was not mentioned or credited in any way (me ... the author of 9
of the FAQs ... *all* of which are done too).  :--(
