A finger - that he'd given earlier. The finger he "gave" to escape - was 
forcible and reluctant. He'd have to give more. Also... "Give the devil your 
finger, he takes the whole hand". So um- Whole hand was demonstrating his 
willingness. Wonder if it was the same hand he'd taken his finger when 
facing Sirius just before excaping the first time?
