Interesting, and in some parts I agree.
Dumbledore has always been described as having powers strong enough
to rival Voldemort but is too "noble" to use them.
We know that Voldemort is a decendent from Salazar, if Dumbldore's
powers rival his then could he be the heir of Gryffindor. Also, it
hint in the books that Salazar almost played second fiddle to Godric,
were his power's stronger? Are Dumbledore's?
Secondly, Lily Potter died to save her son. It clearly says in the
books that she died saving Harry, suggesting she didn't have to die.
Why kill Harry and James? If James was heir, surely Harry would be.
This could be the reason Vodemort wanted them dead, but not Lily.
Maybe, he just wanted her to suffer, having to watch them die...
But let's not forget Harry pulled out Godric's sword from the
sorthing hat, only a *true* Gryffindor could do that!!!!
