Why Voldemort doesn't challenge Dumbledore?

First, I'm so glad y'all gave me some great feedback on this question. ;)

Second, I love the "why kill Lily" theory proposed by Megan. Perhaps
there was a certain prophecy about the Potter magic ruling the world
<yeah, cliche, I know>. So, Voldemort sees this as a win/win
situation. In theory, the Potter magic, and the prophecy surrounding
it, should transfer to Voldemort once he kills them. If not, they are
still dead and the best kind of auror is a dead one. Any more thoughts?
