Well, how can you be sure that Hermione is almost a year older instead of a
couple months younger? It's more likely she's younger. The month of September
is usually the latest month included for birthdays in a certain year....Oh
dear, that made no sense but I can't grasp a better way to say what I mean...
Ok, example then. My friend Sam's birthday is September 20th. He started
kindergarten when he was 4 but a child born in October had to wait until the
next year to start school. Hermione is probably one of the youngest in her
year.
