Does Hogwarts include Irish (Eire) students? (was: Re: Wizarding population of UK)

Hmm. My Northern Irish friend reliably informs me that "Seamus Finnigan" is
a *very* Southern Irish name. People (Muggles, anyway) from NI would
possibly not support Ireland to the extent that Seamus does in GoF at the
QWC.

Also, both Jim Dale and Stephen Fry give him an Irish lilt rather than a NI
lilt. (Similarly, and with a slight caveat for a movie aside, Devon Murray's
accent in the film is SO Southern Irish.)

Okay, it's not basing it on much more than his name. But JKR does have a way
of painting people with their names...
