at him during the first feast?

I thought that this was because Voldie was not with Quirell at this
time. We know he could roam independently of Quirrell (like in the
Dark Forest and at the end of battle w/ Quirrell). And at the
banquet, Harry's scar hurt because of Quirrell, not Snape. If you
remember, Snape was talking to Quirrell at the time, and Quirrell's
back was towards Harry. This scene is the movie shows this very well.

originality than to have some ridiculous old prophesy lurking about
ready to tout Harry as the Kwisatch Hadarach - oops, I mean the one
who had come to bring redemption - oops, I mean the one who is to
bring balance to the Force.... I'm sure you get my point. This has
been DONE TO DEATH. I think the "Order of the Phoenix" sounds a lot
like the "Order of Merlin," and may simply be a group of people who
have been awarded this medal at one point or another. Or Harry may be
awarded it during book 5. We have no proof whatsoever that Sirius,
Lupin, or any of the others belong to this order.

I am kind of hoping that a prophecy thing doesnt pop up. I will
never forgive George Lucas for The Phantom Menace. He had 20 years
to come up with something original (and a decent script for that
matter) and he failed.

Dumbledore somehow IS Harry and the reason he seems to be so clueless
in letting things happen is that he knows that they have to happen
this way in order for the ultimate result to occur?

I have been considering the "history repeats itself" idea. We know
from the Dumbledore Chocolate Frog card that Dumbledore defeated the
dark Wizard GrindelWald 50 years ago, which would have been around
the time that Tom Riddle was in Hogwarts. Perhaps there is some sort
of reincarnation of evil wizard spirit thing going on. Perhaps that
is what Harry is as well, only for the good side?

One thing which I think would help is a timeline of all the events
that are listed in the books. JKR loves to use obscure references
from previous books as major plot elements down the line. If anyone
knows of a good timeline out there, let me know! Thanks!
