Ah, but which set(s) of twins will figure in the hypothetical mixup:
The Patils, the Weasleys, the as-yet-unintroduced Romulus Lupin, or
some other pair?  I think that, as far as narrative power goes, the
previous mixups because of Polyjuice Postion have stolen much of the
thunder from a mixup of twins.  Still, JKR has demonstrated over and
over her economy of language.  She doesn't write anything simply to
pad the story, and she has in effect underlined the presence of twins
as a possible plot device.  Another Red Flag has been waved!
