Snape does come out during the daytime, but not during GoF...he's
mentioned as attending Quidditch matches three times: twice during
PS/SS, those being the matches where he is set afire by Hermione and
then the match he referees; and once during PoA, the big
Slytherin/Gryffindor match. The PoA passage definitely indicates it
was a *sunny* day, as Oliver is worried about the light affecting
Harry's ability to see the Snitch.
There's probably just enough evidence to indicate that Snape might be
heat-sensitive; after all, during the first book he is inside on a
very nice day in early summer and was trying to shoo the trio out of
the building. Not to mention Hermione setting him on fire. He also
spends a lot of time in a very cold basement. The Potions classroom
is referred to as being very cold. All the Quidditch matches he
attends are in the winter or early spring.
