Joys of OT Chat - Perception of future instalments of HP series

I don't post to the list very often at all, but opinions of late have
moved me to do so. Hang on to your hats !

OK, some people have expressed disappointment at Penny's request to move
predictions for future books to our OT Chat list. The reason for its
existence is because the list just couldn't cope with our attempts to
get to know each other a bit more than just how we felt about HP topics.
Some of you pointed out that OT chat is less populated than the main
list. True. But I think that OT chat makes this list so much richer for
the depth of knowledge we have of each other and we're always pleased to
see new people. It's not terribly high traffic unless we talk about food

Now, to my burning question. To date, we've discussed what effect recent
events might  have on what JKR writes or has written next. But will our
perception change ? I keep thinking of the end of Goblet of Fire as
quite allegorical in light of recent events - The Parting Of the Ways,
the oft-quoted Remember Cedric speech by Dumbledore and Hagrid's advice
to Harry " What's comin' will come, an' we'll meet it when it does ". As
if something big's brewing. Just like now in the real world.
