My two knuts' worth - I wondered if the Kloves wrinkle might have
anything to do with what Harry sees in the Mirror of Erised? The
first time, amongst the people Harry sees reflected, there's a
specific mention of "a little old man who looked as though he had
Harry's knobbly knees". On the third night, before Dumbledore
intervenes, Harry sees "...his mother and father smiling at him
again, and one of his grandfathers nodding happily". I always
thought it was... hmm, interesting, that emphasis on there only
being one grandfather in the Erised family portrait. I'm wondering
if one of the Kloves slips might have been to try to populate the
Mirror with more dead family members than Harry actually has at that
time?
Also begs the question: who's the grandfather who is still alive?
But I have a big feeling that older nad wiser heads hereabouts have
already debated that to death long before my arrival on the scene.
So I'll shut up now!
Cheers - Riv (my first post here and boy, are my ears red!)
