*blinks.* Perhaps she is that, but she is young, and idealistic.
Whether or not she approaches her crusade from the correct angle, her
impulses are born out of empathy and a good heart. No one can say she
wants to improve the lot of house-elves for selfish motives. I'll
take even Hermione's possibly misdirected idealism over Ron's "They
like it like that" apathy any day.

I don't see why the poor kid would know that -- she's only eleven,
and hasn't mastered social skills. Many of us were like that once.
*Pats Hermione.* It doesn't mean she doesn't have feelings -- Ron's
comment that no one can stand her because she's a nightmare reduces
her to tears.

Ah, somebody who doesn't know that Ebony is the co-captain of the SS
H/H along with Penny? *ducks* Right-O, no ship discussions.
