oh, bravo, bravo! *claps enthusiastically*
that was brilliant. Rent is a wonderful musical, no? ^_~
laura (who *thinks* replying to filks on-list is allowed, because she's seen people at it before. *glances around guiltily*)
I mean, it *is* okay, right?
P.S. I just realized that my last couple posts were a bit well...fierce. *blushes* I just get a little excited sometimes, you know? I meant everything I said, but if I came off as um..witchy -- Mm'sorry.
*still feeling like she should put something canon-like in this post*
OKAY! I was thinking, umm..thinking..Ah, yes. I was thinking the other day, about JKR's tendency to be, well -- contrary.
And everytime someone's like "oh, don't kill Ron." She's always like "But what about Hermione, I could kill Hermione you know."
And it does seem as if no one really thinks about the possibility of Hermione getting killed off like they do about Ron. So I was wondering, is this because:
1) No one (in the fandom) cares if she dies.
2) Ya'all think that since Harry isn't quite as attached to Herm as he is to Ron, it would make more dramatic sense for Ron to die.
3) Hermione doesn't really come off as a vulnerable person, whereas Ron does.
Personally, for me, it's a combo of 2 and 3. Ron is more of the impulsive, emotional, leap-before-he-looks type, which sort of makes him an easier target for DE's, at least in my opinion. It's also these qualities that make him, IMO, a more likely candidate for going Evil! than Hermione. What do you all think? Will Hermione die or go evil? Why? Canon? Anyone? Do you think JKR is evil enough to do her in just because we don't seem to be expecting it?
*can't really picture either happening with Herm, but finds it disturbingly easy with Ron*
:( Personally, I cling to the hope that none of the trio will die or go evil..it'd be quite awful.
