Permission to Board LOLLIPOPS

Dear Tabouli and others:

  Requesting permission to board the good ship LOLLIPOPS. Have served 
on similar vessels in the past in foreign (other chat room) waters. Am
greatly admiring arguments (esp. 28550). Would also like to add to 
the Snape/Christmas discussion. Remember that Snape DOES share 
Christmas dinner with Dumbledore, McGonagall, Harry, etc...in PoA 
(who could forget the vulture hat!).

  Another Snape/Lily parallel that I am not sure has been mentioned is
Snape/Lily/James = Heathcliff/Cathy/Edgar in Emily Bronte's WUTHERING 
HEIGHTS. Heathcliff (the brooding antihero) is rejected by Cathy and 
makes the life of her daughter (by Edgar)  miserable. I do not need 
to illustrate the obvious parallels with HARRY POTTER. If this has 
been mentioned in the past, forgive my redundancy. Am awaiting with 
baited breath permission to board this marvellous vessel.
