Well, well. Is Pettigrew brave? again. The time-honoured question that 
I change my mind on every time it's brought up.

I used to say he was a complete coward till Elkins pointed out that he 
chops off his own arm, bolts for it on pain of death in PoA, and 
frames Sirius rathering daringly. On the other hand, he's not brave 
enough to stand up to Voldemort.

I vote for Pettigrew being very brave and very cowardly. Can I do 
that? But I also think that he used to be more righteously brave, and 
he's lost that over the years.
