Me:  

While we dispute whether Hufflepuffs get the raw end of the gene pool, lets remember that the ongoing theme seems to be choices.  I believe that Hufflepuffs are where they are because the chose to be there.  Lets also take into account that wizards don't "chose" their inherent powers.  I would definitely prefer a powerful Hufflepuff over a weak wizard from any other school for a battle.
